AR 77 Northeast US Shelf Long-Term Ecological Survey

Participated in a five-day (11-16 October) research cruise with The Menden-Deuer Plankton Lab on the Neil Armstrong AR 77. Helped with Chlorophyll fluorometer measurements, filtration experiments, flowcytometer measurements, CTD setup and take down and assisted chief scientist Dr. Heidi Sosik and other PhD students.

2023 NOAA Hollings Internship: Saipan and Guam

I am very excited to announce that I have been given the opportunity to conduct my summer 2023 NOAA Internship in Saipan, The Northern Mariana Islands as a "2023 CNMI Coral Restoration Scholar", where I will be studying the retention of coral larval seed beads.

Menden-Deuer Plankton Laboratory 

I joined the Menden-Deuer Lab during the spring 2023 semester. In my time within the Menden-Deuer Lab, I am interested in learning more about mixotrophic plankton and applying that knowledge to my own experiments and research.

The Coral Microbiome

This research was conducted at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences under mentorship of Rachel Parsons and Dr. Samatha De Putron.

Oculina Recruitment in the Indian River Lagoon

During a 10 week internship, I studied the Oculina species recruitment within the Indian River Lagoon under the mentorship of Dr. Andia Chaves Fonnegra within the Integrative Laboratory of Marine and Coastal Ecology at FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.
